that's my favorite part of being in paris so far
but the mona lisa was amazing today
we have one more day in paris, and it has gotten quite nice to be here now, especially since we have a plan! we fly to kiev on friday morning and will stay with my friend Sasha for a few days
i want to write more, but these internet cafe's just eat up the euros
i'll try soon!

ReplyDeleteHere in Toronto the observant family with whom my daughter lived for several years also took in a young girl from Belarus, one of many that are sponsored by the Jewish community. She recently married, but her mother was unable to come to the wedding because of visa problems. I believe her mother was only able to visit one time in the many years she has been here.
I had an opportunity to visit Kiev several years ago on business and met delightful Ukrainians who care deeply for their country and the struggle to create the society they wish to live in. I wish had had an opportunity to see the countryside as well.
